HBCC is located in the Jinja district in Uganda and believes that every child deserves to have a home with a family and caretakers that cater to their physical health, emotional well-being, and future development.

 

We focus on providing the children in their care with:

• transitional and rehoming services

• assessment of welfare needs

• AIDs treatment and education

• counseling for trauma from childhood suffering and war exposure

• daily care, health, and nutrition

• spiritual care and support

• educational support (fees, supplies, uniforms)

• skills training (farming, basket weaving, soap making, cooking, mushroom growing, dance)
