About the event
The 🍄3rd Annual African Rising Mushroom Festival 🍄 is hosted by Environmental Conservation and Agricultural Enhancement Uganda (Eco-Agric Uganda) at their Mushroom growing center three kilometers from the Hoima central market in rural Eastern Uganda. This year's theme, "Mushroom Renaissance," highlights the transformative power of mushrooms in addressing some of Africa's most pressing challenges, including food security, poverty, and environmental sustainability.
The festival features a range of activities, including exhibitions, industry speakers, mushroom training and mentorship programs, networking opportunities, and innovative mycology solutions and technology showcases. Activities will run from 6am to 6pmin Uganda each day over the 3-day festival.
By sponsoring the African Rising Mushroom Festival, you will provide local residents, students, and farmers the unique opportunity to learn more about the amazing benefits of mushrooms and mushroom growing as well as contribute to the growth and development of Africa's mushroom sector. 🌍
